Bebe Captures
Throughout my life and creative career it is watercolour painting that I turn to for free expression. It is my means of escape from the restriction of briefs and the digital skills of today’s graphic design. In the early 1980’s, I attended Nene School of Art and Design, University of Northampton, for 4 years. During this time, I studied art history, drawing, painting and illustration in a variety of mediums. This, alongside typography and photography, was integral to graphic design training at the time.
Since those early years, I have kept my practise up with a selection of courses at Edinburgh Art School and The London Drawing Group amongst others.
In 2005, I held my first exhibition locally focusing on landscapes and animals.

I currently take commissions for a variety of subjects and particularly enjoy dog portraits. It’s rewarding to capture their individual characters.
