A wonderful opportunity to collate the Scottish Borders Campus Textile’s students work in a unique graduation book.
I was supplied content and images from the students. Their beautiful artwork made their book come alive. There was no shortage of inspiration, from the content supplied, for some stunning double page spreads.
The cover was designed to the existing #TRANSFORM19 graduation show design. I was completely in my element designing the page layout and DPS throughout the book.
Choosing a paper stock and obtaining dummies has been the core part of my design for print career – I was grateful to have the opportunity again for this publication.
This final print production was perfect bound on GF Smith’s Strathmore paper stock finished in a linen texture for the cover. The text pages were printed on a smooth white stock.
I hope the graduating students in 2019 appreciate their keepsake book as much as I appreciated the opportunity to design it.
